I’m Emma — your fractional Chief People Officer, startup HR fixer, and sounding board for People leads who are doing it all on their own.

Why I do this

I’ve seen too many brilliant founders end up resenting their teams, not because the people are bad, but because no one ever taught them how to manage humans.

I started P2 Knowledge to make HR easier, kinder, and less crap. To demystify, de-risk, and de-wankify the whole thing.

I’m based in the UK, happiest with a coffee in hand, and occasionally deploy the odd swear word when the situation calls for it. HR should feel human, not robotic — so that’s how I work.
